Ted Davenport's - Romero and Miss Julie - Auditions

Auditions for Ted Davenport's Romero and Miss Julie; will take place at the Auburn Public Theater on Monday, November 16th and Tuesday the17th from 7 to 9pm
Entrance is, off the park. Parking is available in the parking garage and on Genesee Street.
The production is produced by Lindsay Day and Directed by Tom Hoey. Asst. Director is Carole Estabrook. Scenery will be designed by Navroz Dabu and Costumes/Choreography is by Krystal Scott

Available Parts for Romero and Miss Julie

Miss Julie (well mannered, matriarch, with some dancing-fifties)

Tyrome Casper (blustering southern governor type-thirties)

Julieanne Casper (teenager-15 to 18)

Pete (grandfather type-sixties and up)

Sanders (possible stutterer, lacky-eighteen and up)

Romero (ceasar romero type and some dancing-fifties)

Maria (lawyer-strong good looking woman-twenties)

Mabel (authoritative twenties to fifties)

Narrator (male or female-any age)

Gabby (male or female-any age-non speaking role-physical comedy)

Deputy Frank Jones (attractive male 18 to mid twenties)

Nurse Ellen Bethel (authoritative nurse ratched type-thirty to mid fifties)

Nurse Hopkins (strong male or female-twenties to fifties)

Karl (comedy and some dancing-twenties to fifties)

Crap shooters, patients, juggler, magician, competitive dancers (any age 15 and up)

Those auditioning will be asked to do a cold reading from the script or bring an audition monologue.
A few roles require a small amount of dancing.
Show will be presented at the Irene A. Bisgrove Theatre at Cayuga Community College on Valentines Day Weekend.
